Dundee Creative Well-Being Health & Well-being
Our Health & Wellbeing activities are designed to holistically support women’s physical and psychological health and well-being. This includes everything from monthly health checks incorporated into our Tuesday drop-ins and focussed information sessions on relevant health issues, to workshops around financial wellbeing, housing rights and more.
On this page, you can explore our recent Health & Well-Being activities.

Nourish Days
Early 2026 we are delighted to be working alongside Ishka on “Nourish Days”, a year long project to introduce breathwork and other well-being practices that our women can use in their day-to-day lives to support better mental health.
The series of 6 workshops introduces participants to breathing and relaxation techniques for managing stress, with each session including a mindful creative activity and nourishing shared lunch where the group build social connections and a supportive community.
Nourish Days is funded by Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action (DVVA) through the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.
Health Q&A Sessions
In partnership with two NHS doctors, Dr Shehla and Dr Sadia, we are fortunate to offer focussed information sessions looking at key topics of particular relevance to our group.
Over the last year, sessions have focused on breast cancer awareness, menopause and dementia.
NHS Health Checks
In partnership with the NHS Tayside Health Inclusion Nurses, we run free monthly health check appointments with Nurses Bev and Cat.
Information sessions
We work across our Amina teams and with external partners to ensure that our women have access to information about topics that are relevant to them and their general wellbeing, such as housing rights, budgeting and managing finances, employment skills, access to volunteering opportunities and more.
